ITEM 1: Social Hour Thursday, July 10. at Steve’s Pizza, 714 Main St, Woodland
In place of our usual Roundtable and District Committee Meetings we will have a Scouting Social Gathering on Thursday, July 10 at Steve’s Pizza, 714 Main Street in Woodland, starting at 7:00 PM.
This is a time to network, chat informally about district activities, provide feedback, vent, and have a good time with other members of the district. We will have a few items for an informal district huddle.
The regular District Meetings and Roundtable will return in August.
ITEM 2: District Committee merged into the Social Gathering in Item 1.
See the note above that the usual District Committee meeting will be merged into the Social Gathering at Steve’s Pizza in Woodland at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 10.
ITEM 3: Yolo District Eagle Dinner. July 24
Yolo District will be sponsoring a dinner to honor our recent Eagles Scouts. Our first annual District Eagle Scout Dinner will be held onThursday, July 24 at 7:00 PM. The event will be held at the El Macero Clubhouse, 44571 Clubhouse Drive, El Macero (Davis). The dinner is free for 2013 Eagle Scouts.

NEXT PACK MEETING – TBA
We will be planning for next year. This is your chance to volunteer for your duty to the pack. If you have a position you can continue in it or try something new. If you do not currently have a position in the pack, we NEED you to. There are many functions you can perform for the benefit of YOUR SON and the pack. Find something that fits YOUR STYLE AND SCHEDULE. Whether you are on the front line as Cubmaster or Den Leader, or maybe the occasional event committee member such as Pinewood Derby, Pool Party, Blue and Gold, Popcorn, or in a critical ongoing background duty such as treasurer, committee Chair, Pack Trainer, Service Coordinator, Webmaster, Outings Coordinator…THE PACK NEEDS YOU TO VOLUNTEER TO FUNCTION! Grab a “HAT”, try it on! Take a “HAT” from someone who wears more than one! And thank those in the pack who ARE wearing a hat or two. They do it happily for our son and yours! But thank them anyway.
SUMMER CAMP- JULY 14-17, 2014 – CAMP NAVARRO
Camp Navarro is in the Mendocino County Redwoods. This camp is in a beautiful part of the state. The pack went in 2009 and had a great time there!
